hi. i'm mary kate. i used to have roughly a buhjillion friends on my old journal, ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) eyeliner_tearsx. but then i stopped using it, & when i started again, no one ever commented, so i decided to make this one for people i actually basically know.
i go new york city, and i'm from the city next to boston. & yes it is a city, not a suburb. i love my city. i went to high school in the suburbs & they really ain't all they're cracked up to be. i wouldn't trade cambridge for anywhere else. i listen to a lot of music & stuff. i go to harvard square. i take pictures. i used to perform in plays. i sing. i listen to more music. i'm a theatre kid too. it's what i do. hense the pun of my username. my newest official (& hopefully professional) passion is film. i'm double majoring in film studies and philosophy. i'm bearing with the fact that i'm going to live in a box for the rest of my life, i'm basically okay with it. i love the idea of combining visual & audio & script.
i have other weird quirks like chewing on my pens & being really sarcastic, but i have my friends & they're pretty much all i need. them & my parents. though we fight... a lot, i love them & they love me. it's what matters. i swear a lot sometimes, so my journal really isn't for the faint of heart. & if you don't want to hear me complain, don't add me. i really am sweet though. & i have a ton of energy sometimes, dancing & singing around are some pretty quality times for me. i'm too nice & i wish i was a bitch.
oh & i think i'm pretty fucking cool. so don't add me if you don't.
